June 16, 1937 - Clerks and Finance Officers met in Faribault and request approval by the League of Minnesota Municipalities to form an Association under sponsorship of the League; the League approved and the first officers elected were: president, F. Je Indihar, Gilbert; Vice President, T.A. Brown, Hastings; Trustee, S. T. Irvine, Red Wing; Trustee H.S.Campbell, Alexandria
